The workshop took place on 18 September 2025 and 26 September 2025. We were pleased to have our Assistant Librarian, Michael Ho, as the instructor. Michael guided students in creating 3D models through the AI technology, demonstrating how this technology can transform a simple idea into a real object.

From September 1st to 5th, over 250 students participated, engaged and won amazing prizes in our orientation game! Participants received 3D-printed keychains designed by our staff, water bottles, phone stands, and Ita-bags.

We were thrilled to host over 20 enthusiastic participants in this immersive workshop, where creativity met cutting-edge technology. Attendees had the opportunity to dive into the world of AI-assisted 3D design and printing, gaining hands-on experience with tools that simplify the design process while sparking innovation.

Exciting news! The LRC has just launched a brand-new learning space—C-Area 2—designed to elevate your study experience. Located on 1/F of the CMA LRC, this vibrant area offers a comfortable and inspiring environment for all users.

In appreciation of the unwavering support from the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong (the CMA) and CMA Testing over the decades to VTC, a ceremony was held on 14 February 2025 to officially name the Learning Resources Centre at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) of Chai Wan campus after the CMA, and the multi-purpose room in the Learning Resources Centre after CMA Testing.
