LRCs develop an increasing electronic collection including E-databases, E-books, E-journal, and Video-on-demand.

LRCs currently subscribes to around 80 E-databases that cover various subjects and offer full-text journal articles from over 100,000 E-journals. LRCs also offer access to over 367,000 E-books on different topics and local TV programmes.

Despite subscribed E-resources, VPET Repository and VTC Institutional Repository (IR) have been developed to preserve materials relating to Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET) in Hong Kong and research works by VTC staff.

To support teaching and learning, LRCs have developed a series of resources related to courses and examinations. Staff and students can retrieve course syllabi and examination papers from databases while LibGuides is here to help users find resources on various subjects. Also, students from SHAPE and WMG School can retrieve course materials and E-dissertations from the library catalogue and the database.
